Some of us are getting use to our new norm with less gatherings. We are staying very busy with social media and zoom class. I would encourage everyone to stay strong and keep going with making your immune health challenge. Create a immune health challenge for your brain and body to keep it inspired.
Pick 1,2, or 3 challenges to try this week
- Nutrition- Add one green food to your daily eating plan. If you are already eating greens then add one additional servings of greens. Green foods are very powerful in cleaning our bodies of toxin. Some yummy greens are celery, broccoli, spinach, kale, lettuce leaf, green beans, Brussel sprouts, edamame, or green powder. For more information on nutrition visit choosemyplate.gov.
- Exercise- hold a plank for 30 to 60 seconds. Start off on your knees if you are new or lift a leg if you have been holding planks for awhile. Make sure elbows are under your shoulders, hips are parallel to the ground and your weight is shifted forward into arms and not back into your feet.
- Meditation-Add a centering thought to your 5 minutes of meditation such as hope, clarity, calm, love, grounding, or peace. After your meditation, write down your thoughts on a piece a paper. Don’t judge just write them down and see what happens during your day.
As we hope to be increasing our social gathering over the next few weeks please remember to take care your health and your immune health challenge to stay healthy.
