A Smoothie to Shake The Plateau

Some of my clients have been raving about my purple Smoothie. This simple smoothie has helped people lose weight, feel energized, and feel full. The secret ingredients are all natural, easy to find, and exploding with health benefits.

Place ingredients into a blender

1 cup of kale and/or spinach…otherwise known as super foods

½ cup of Greek yogurt or Kefir to provide protein and calcium

Handful of blackberries for antioxidants

Handful of raspberries for antioxidants

Handful of blueberries for antioxidants

4 strawberries for more antioxidants

1 Tbsp. of ground flaxseed for Omega 3 and fiber

1 tbsp. of Agave for some extra sweetness

Approximate Nutritional info per shake:

394 calories, 76 grams carbs, 8 grams fat, 17 grams protein, 95 milligrams sodium and 44 grams sugar.

I would recommend making this smoothie every day in the morning or the night before.  Drink the Smoothie on the way to work if you do not have time for breakfast.  Not only does this smoothie fill you up in the morning, but it will help reduce sugar cravings late afternoon. Enjoy! 🙂
